The Free Play period usually begins the child’s pre-school day. Many childhood educators consider this time to be the most important, spent time at pre-school by a child. During Free Play there is an opportunity for creative art experiences, block and dramatic play, puzzles, peg boards and other fine motor and educational toys. These activities help develop and enhance a child’s social, emotional and visual skills as well as develop reading, writing, cognitive and logical thinking skills. These are done through Montessori Reggio Emelia and playway learning methods. |
